Around the world... with a gnome!

I love gnomes, and so this is my favourite news article of ALL time. EVER!:

A GARDEN gnome that vanished seven months ago has returned home — complete with snaps from a round-the-world holiday. Leprechaun Murphy turned up on owner Eve Stuart-Kelso’s doorstep with a smart photo album charting his adventures in 12 countries and three continents. Gnome at last ... Murphy is reunited with owner Eve
Pics feature him abseiling down a mountain, swimming in the sea and venturing into a croc-infested swamp. Gran-of-three Eve also found a note explaining Murphy had left to see if there was more to life than “allowing passing cats to urinate on you”.

The pensioner, of Longlevens, Gloucs, said of being reunited with him: “It was a wonderful cheery surprise." She added: “It puts a smile on my face to see all the people he met on his travels .”

Last night law graduate Simon Reynolds, 22, of Gloucester, admitted he snatched Murphy. He said: “He was my companion for seven months and we got very close. He was a great ice breaker.”

In Australia...

New Zealand...

In Thailand...

And in Laos.

And finally...

On the cable cars that cross from Mount Faber to Sentosa Island, Singapore!! Woohoo!
